This is the part where we say that the response was overwhelming (which is true) and how we’re looking forward to bringing you this exclusive Doctor Who event August 25th at the famed Ziegfeld Theater in New York City (also true.)
Movietickets.com experienced a hiccup (understatement) but stayed up long enough to sell 800+ tickets to the show.
We’ll have more news about the screening in the coming days so stay tuned.
(including ways to win tickets to the screening.)
This whole thing was handled so poorly, I can’t even. It should have been first-come, first-served, not just for people lucky enough to get through the lag. The tickets shouldn’t have been available via movietickets.com if their servers couldn’t handle the capacity. Completely unfair.
